From your letter to us, and from our talks in the past, we understand that you agree about the need to try new ways in the relationships between the Ultra-Orthodox and the Secular communities, and for issues of religion and state; and that the purpose of the first stage of your research is to lead a public discussion within the Ultra-Orthodox community, and at its second stage – to lead towards dialogue between the Ultra-Orthodox and the Secular communities, which will eventually lead to an agreement.

Naturally, we support this, and congratulate you on your undertaking.
